Young Wales launch: Forum priorities and film of the day

Young Wales launched on Friday 27th March with young people from forums across Wales meeting in Newtown to decide their priorities for the year.  The day was challenging but positive with young people sharing why particular issues were important to them and their forum.  Under the direction of the group we combined some of the topics together before they finalised the six topics as follows:

Young Wales shortlist

We worked with local forums across Wales around their current work and the major issues that they're facing.  12 topics were raised repeatedly and these will be discussed on Friday before a vote for their six priorities. for their choices.  The new Young Wales website will also be launched as part of the day.

Project launch

Cymru Ifanc – Young Wales will be launched as part of a day of activities with young people.  We have already been visiting groups across Wales to find out about work, and on March 27th representatives from each forum will meet.  They will discuss all the issues and decide on their national priorities for the year.
