The Petitions Committee are currently holding a review of the National Assembly for Wales’ Petitions system. They want to know whether the amount of signatures is correct, should Assembly Members be allowed to submit a petition and whether there should be a minimum age to submit a petition.
Meic is the first national advocacy, information and advice helpline of its kind providing children and young people with a single point of contact via freephone, instant messaging and text. Funded by Welsh Government, Meic has been fully operational as a 24/7 service since January 2011.
From September 2015, some 110,000 16, 17 and 18 year olds resident in Wales will be able to claim 1/3 discounts on their bus fares on journeys anywhere in Wales by local bus services or by TrawsCymru longer-distance services.

This is an early stage workshop to collect thoughts and ideas from young people towards the next 3 year delivery plan from Welsh Government called ‘Working together to reduce harm’
There will be more opportunities for young people across Wales to participate at later stages.
The Welsh Government has published its annual update on its work on tackling poverty.
Lauren Crawford is 19 years old and is from Aberdare in Rhondda Cynon Taf. She is currently a UK Young Ambassador for Wales and was elected in August 2014.
Lauren has been extremely busy during the last year this is a quick whistle stop tour of what she has been up to.
