Black History Wales Youth Awards (BHWYA) 2019, 21/08/2019 [W]

Nominations are now open for the Black History Wales Youth Awards 2019.

Young people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities in Wales, aged 13 to 30, can be nominated for awards in a variety of categories, including young leader, good citizen, science and innovation, young volunteer and young carer.

Each category has their own criteria, explaining what each category is for and how the young people can meet the entry requirements.

There is more information about the categories, and how to nominate young people on the award website. Winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony at the Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay by the First Minister, Mark Drakeford AM.

The deadline for nominations is midnight Thursday, 05 September 2019.
