Wild animals in circuses - tell us what you think!

The Welsh Government is planning to make a law against using wild animals in travelling circuses in Wales, and would like to know what you think.

At the moment, there are no circuses with wild animals in Wales, but they do visit. Two circuses that are registered in England regularly visit Wales, and they use animals including zebra, camel, zebu, reindeer, racoon, fox and macaw, as well as domestic animals. Some circuses from mainland Europe also use elephants, lions and tigers.

The UK Government is planning to ban the use of wild animals in travelling circuses by January 2020, and Scotland has already put a ban in place.

We'd like to tell Welsh Government what you think - if you'd like to have your say, please answer the questions below by 25th February 2019.
