Eurochild has been asked to consult children on the mid-term review of the work of the Council of Europe
Eurochild has been asked to consult with children on the 2018-2019 mid-term review on the Council of Europe’s Strategy for Children’s Rights.
The thematic areas include combating violence, child-friendly justice, equal opportunities, children’s rights in the digital environment and child participation.
The results of the review will be reported to a high-level conference in June 2019 in Paris, and following successful participation in the conference launching the Council of Europe Strategy for Children’s Rights in Sofia, children will be invited to participate in Paris.
Eurochild has also produced an advocacy toolkit to promote children’s participation with support from Council of Europe.
